JobHive is a social impact project I am working on with Anglicare WA and the Department of Jobs and Small Business incorporating human centred design methodologies. JobHive is an innovative project that reimagines the Employment Services experience for young people facing homelessness.

Delivering employment support on an outreach basis, the JobHive Team co-locates with both Homelessness Services and Employment Service Providers. Embedding a visual design capacity within the team, JobHive develops, tests, implements and publishes an insight driven toolkit online and offline. The combination of flexible outreach support and an innovative toolkit aims to empower young people to realise their own employment goals.

The support is tailored to the young person’s individual needs, trauma informed, and focusses on motivation, confidence, network and the vision anyone needs on their journey to finding meaningful employment, and keeping it.
